Village Leaders Reject the Gospel

My previous letter included an article about our plan to show a gospel film in the villages surrounding Brno. So far, we have been rejected in every village where we have tried to rent space. The responses range from, "sorry, but we plan the entire following year in the fall", to, "there is no way you are going to use our space to propagate your religious beliefs". Some might say it's time to quit, go home, hang it up. NO CHANCE! I say with the apostle Paul, "We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;" 2 Corinthians 4:8-9
The message is too important. Too many people have yet to hear. How can we stop sharing the things we have seen and heard? We will continue to share, continue to preach, continue to pass out tracts, and continue to get the gospel to every creature by every means possible.

Family News

Our oldest son, James, graduates from high school in June. He has an interest in computer programming. He has shown an amazing aptitude for programming and has done work for several owners of internet game servers. He read a book on Java and began writing. He read another book on C# computer language and has begun writing in that as well. Even though he is only 16, we are looking into schools where he can begin college level studies. Pray for wisdom and direction for him and for us.
David is completing his ninth grade year this spring. It will be very difficult for him here without his brother. They have always been inseparable as brothers and best friends.

Medical Update

After visiting the ENT specialist, the Neurologist, as well as the physical therapist, the doctors still have no idea what is causing my tinnitus. Sometimes the ringing gets so loud, it is nearly impossible to concentrate. Other times, it lessens. I have asked the Lord many times to relieve me of this, but up until now His answer has been that His grace will be sufficient. I, however; am still praying for a different answer. God does all things well and in His own time. Also thank you for praying for Debra's skin condition. The coconut oil has been helping a great deal. She still suffers with breakouts from time to time. Sometimes they heal very quickly, other times they take weeks to heal and cause a great deal of pain. She has a few that she has not been able to get healed. These blisters do not break out as a rash or in a large area. They are individual spots that break out in different areas on her body, are extremely sensitive, and then break open and burn. Please keep praying for a long term solution to her discomfort.
